Tournament Information
During these unprecedented times of COVID-19, the safety of all golfers, volunteers and staff is our main priority at the 29th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Med.

Adhering to current CDC and New York state guidelines related to COVID-19, this year’s tournament will not have a shotgun start. Teams will tee off every nine minutes beginning in the morning and throughout the afternoon.

Due to the staggering of tee times, we are unable to accommodate all previously submitted afternoon requests. Please resubmit your tee-time preference through the link below. Preferences will be handled on a first-come, first-served request. You do not need to submit foursome names to register your team’s tee time. If your sponsorship includes more than one foursome, you must register each team individually. For example, Albany Med Team 1 and Albany Med Team 2.

Teams will have the choice of teeing off at Hole #1 or Hole #10. Once a tee time has been reserved, it will no longer appear as an available time slot in the drop-down box. To register for your tee time, please click HERE.

 We have also had to cancel the awards banquet and dinner, but all meals will be provided as “Grab and Go.” See below for further details.

Proceeds from this tournament help Albany Med leverage critical funding to sustain the programs, services and people that make our Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital a place on which so many families have come to rely. From equipment purchases to supporting child life specialists, funds raised at this event ensure that Albany Med's caregivers can provide the finest pediatric care for the thousands of children we serve each year.

Tournament Safety Requirements
Because safety is our highest priority, the tournament will adhere to guidelines of the CDC and New York state to ensure the safety of players, volunteers and staff. The following safety precautions will be implemented:

  • Each participant’s temperature will be taken at registration. If anyone has a temperature above 99 degrees, they will have to leave the tournament.
  • Masks must be worn by participants at registration and when entering the Club House or Pro Shop.
  • Masks are not required on carts or on the golf course, but they are recommended.
  • When possible, please maintain six feet of social distancing.
  • Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided to all participants.
  • Flags should NOT be lifted from holes during play; they must always remain in the hole.
  • Golf carts will be sanitized between morning and afternoon golfers.
  • All meals will be prepared to “Grab and Go”.
  • Snacks, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages will be available throughout the day on the course.

Tournament Awards
All participants will be notified by email after the tournament announcing both morning and afternoon foursome winners and course contest winners. Prizes will be mailed to all winners.

Golfers will also have a chance to win raffle prizes throughout the day. Raffles will be pulled before the end of the afternoon round. If you are not present to claim your item, a member of the Albany Med Foundation will contact winners to coordinate your delivery.

Tournament Format of Play
Scramble: Each team's players hit from the tee box, and then the team members choose the best of the four shots for the next shot. All team members then play the second shot from that location and again choose the best shot. Play continues in this manner until the hole is completed. The team then records its score and maintains that format for all 18 holes.

Tournament Schedule
Morning Golf
6:45 am MORNING golfer registration begins. Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tee time. “Grab and Go” breakfast will be available. Snacks, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages will be provided throughout the day.
11:30 am - 1 pm MORNING pre-packaged "Grab and Go" lunch will be provided on the course at Hole #10

Afternoon Golf
11:45am AFTERNOON golfer registration begins. Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tee time. “Grab and Go” lunch will be available. Snacks, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages will be provided throughout the day.
6 pm AFTERNOON pre-packaged “Grab and Go” dinner will be provided at the conclusion of the tournament.
